Chuck’s Garden

This past August our volunteer Lisa Kogan had the pleasure of helping Charles Swanson, one of our hospice patients, fulfill his last wish of creating a garden at the nursing home where he lived. With Lisa’s help, many volunteers came together to build Chuck’s legacy for other residents to enjoy. Our LightBridge Hospice Community Foundation helped Chuck purchase the fountain that he really wanted.

Before he died, Chuck spent many pleasurable hours by the fountain in his garden. Please take a moment to enjoy these photos of his garden coming together and some of the people who volunteered their time to make his dream come true. For more information about Chuck’s story, email Michele at the LightBridge Hospice Community Foundation at michele@lbhcf.org.
