Footsteps & Heartstrings: Remembrance Walk 2011
We are walking in remembrance of those we’ve loved and to help San Diego hospice patients in need. Bring your children and your leashed dog for a great start to the day. By joining us, you help fund special programs such as Simple Gifts and Integrative Therapies that enhance the end-of-life journey for hospice patients and their loved ones. Your participation makes a difference!
When:October 2nd, 2011 at Liberty Station, NTC Park
$15 per person for on-line regtistrations,$25 mail in. To register go to LightBridge Hospice Community Foundation Donation page and enter “Remembrance Walk” in the “In honor of” field.
We have a special booth just for children where they can decorate their shoes, strollers, bikes, skateboards, and scooters to win prizes. There will also be a contest for the best-dressed doggy walker – with prizes guaranteed to please your four-legged friends!
If you can’t join us, consider being a “virtual walker” and make a donation in memory of your loved one at www.lbhcf.org. We’ll walk in their memory with a personalized ribbon of remembrance mailed to you after the Walk.
